"I'm charged up" - Kemi Adetiba gushes over surprise birthday trip

Award-winning filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba has shared her wonderful experience from her surprise birthday trip.

Kemi Filani reported a few days ago that Kemi clocked 43 on 8th January and she celebrated herself with a lengthy heartwarming note to her creator.

Sharing how splendid her birthday went, the beautiful movie producer took to her Instagram account to thank her husband, Oscar Heman-Ackah for a surprise birthday trip to Darka the capital of Senegal.

According to Kemi, her visit to the largest city in Senegal gave her and her husband everything needed as she gushed over the people, amazing food and weather. She also thanked her husband for the perfectly planned surprise trip.

Feeling excited and energetic for the new year, Kemi noted that she is charged up and ready to resume work in the new year.

She wrote: “My birthday week really couldn’t have gone any better.
Dakar gave everything we needed and more.
Thank you to my very special one Oscar Heman-Ackah for the beautifully curated surprise trip (I was told to pack a bag just the night before & only told morning of, that I’d need my passport) and everything that’s happened in it. Now it’s time to leave this lovely country, it’s gorgeous weather & FOOD. the amazing people, and head back to Lagos to get right back to 2023 work.
I’m Charged UP!!”.

Kemi Adetiba turns 43

Celebrating a new age on the fourth floor is definitely worth being grateful for. Kemi Adetiba proved this as she lengthy heartwarming note penned to her creator.

Pouring her heart to God, she wrote:

“43 and still a SNACK!! Thank you Lord for your grace all the blessings, the LESSONS mad the unmerited favour. We’ve had a scintillating first 43….. Thank you for holding my hand and walking me through every step of it. I now know, that even in those moments it didn’t seem you were. YOU WERE!!

“I say, THANK YOU, not because your favor has now come to an end. On the contrary, our BRILLIANT dance continues, Lord, with more moves from you that will leave me squealing and shrieking with glee.

“I promise to have better faith in your guidance, even when all seems prickly around me and your footstep sounds go quiet ‘seeming’ to disappear from my side. They haven’t disappeared. You haven’t stopped guiding and protecting. You’re just tiptoeing in those moments.

“I’m ready for the next 43….. Plus 15 in GREAT health and happiness. AMEN.
From this moment on, I know I will have so many more moments and celebration to be joyously HAPPY. smile till my eyes turn to sits, and enjoy 1000000x more deep belly laughs than the first 43 ever game me. My eyes will wet with happy tears a trillion more than they will ever wet with sorrow…

Sola Sobowale sweetly celebrate Kemi Adetiba 

Kemi Filani recalls that veteran actress, Sola Sobowale sweetly celebrated Kemi Adetiba on her birthday.

Sobowale who has a mother-daughter relationship with Kemi took to her Instagram page to celebrate her sweetly. Sharing a series of pictures and a video of beautiful memories created together, the veteran showered prayers on Kemi while reaffirming her love for her.

She wrote: “Kemi Mi! Glory to Glory! For life… You are one in a million. Thank you for your vibrant and genuine character. On this day and always – I wish you the very best and pray that God will bless your new age, chapter and season. You will never know lack or sorrow in the mighty name of Jesus.
