‘If you reply me, I’ll beat you’ – Actress Amatosero threatens Wathoni for saying actresses use their bodies in exchange for roles

Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Wathoni Anyansi has obviously bitten more than she can chew when she insinuated that Nollywood actresses use their bodies to get roles in movies.

Wathoni had sparked reactions on social media after revealing why she cannot take acting as a profession.

During an interactive session on Instagram, a fan had questioned Wathoni if she has ever considered acting as a profession considering she is beautiful.

Responding, Wathoni said she has tried acting so many times, but it’s unfortunate that in this part of the world, the body of an actress is what helps her.

She wrote: I have and so many times even… But in this part of the world, your body is what help you in that industry, unfortunately.”

The statement generated several reactions online as some social media users claimed her view disrespects Nollywood actresses who have put in hard work to become successful.

For seasoned Nollywood actress cum filmmaker, Ani Amatosero, she had one one occasion featured Wathoni in one of her movies, but sadly the BBN star couldn’t carry out her lines properly.

Amatosero also threatened to beat up Wathoni if they get to see each other physically, adding that after all they are of same size.

Posting a photo of Wathoni, Amatosero wrote: ” Wathoni  Ayansi (if u like block me I will put ur full names since I can’t tag you) e be like say you dey mad.  You dey ment? I can’t believe some actors have really not replied her. I just read your post now. I don’t understand you. The movie you came to Asaba to shoot, Atleast I met you at my film house, who slept with you on that set B4 you got the role? You dey wine me ni? And see the kind of picture you post on your wall. What is the difference between your post and the picture you have in your head about actors? What impression are you giving to new actresses? Or women who really want this as a career? You that could not carry lines, na big brother them dey do for nollywood? Who be this sef? Una go just open mouth waaaaaa. if you reply me I sure say I fit beat you, me and you no kuku tall sef.”
