Pheelz, a Nigerian record producer, song writer and singer in an interview, has revealed his life before the “Finesse” song became a blast.
On Saturday, March 4th, the singer marked the one-year anniversary of the song “finesse”, and also granted a popular magazine an interview. During the interview, he shared many things about himself.
Pheelz in his story on Instagram, also revealed that he had never spilled that much to anyone about him.
The afrobeat singer, mentioned that in early 2021, he released his debut EP, which was relatively successful but cost him a lot of money, leaving him in a difficult financial situation making him beg for food from friends, while he could not afford a table water as well.
On top of that, his girlfriend ended their relationship and his best friend of 15 years abruptly cut ties with him.
He told the magazine: “It was a moment of being alone with myself, I have a vlog where I’d record myself and my thoughts every day. Two months ago, I checked that vlog and I saw myself, and it was just [email protected] because I had [a] beard.
I didn’t have enough money to buy bottled water; I would have friends send me food, lost everything except the roof over my head.”
