How Rats made Linda Ikeji buy Banana Island house

Blogger and single mum, Linda Ikeji, has revealed how Rats made her buy herself a house in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Speaking on Thursday at Ghana Bloggers Summit organised by Avance Media, Ms Linda shared her blogging story and mentored up and coming bloggers who aspire to build a successful career in the field.

When asked at what time she realised she was rich, Linda said it was when the rats in her rented apartment with parents in Surulere, Lagos forced her to have a rethink of her financial state.

“After they chased me out of my sitting room one day, I said to myself, ‘I’m too rich to be sharing space with rats, goddammit!’. Two months later, I was living in a fresh, brand new home in Banana Island, Ikoyi,” she said.
