Actor Kunle Remi has reacted to the sad death of DJ Twitch who committed suicide despite how happy he often looks.

Kemi FIlani recalls that Stephen who was the official DJ on Ellen DeGeneres Show died on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at a motel in the Encino area of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, Twitch died by suicide after battling depression.

While mourning the deceased, Kunle Remi revealed that he also battled depression.

Speaking in a short video clip on Instagram, Kunle Remi said “We never really look fine as we are, speaking as men, we go through a lot.

2017 was tough for me, I was overwhelmed, growing through a lot, and so many thoughts in my mind, and at a point, I couldn’t take it, I was close to committing suicide.

It took God’s grace to scale through….I used to bottle up stuff but now I have learned to hare and talk to someone….life is beautiful but we need to always choose a balance between happiness and sadness, let’s do better.” Kunle Remi advised.

Bimbo Ademoye opens up on battle with depression

Similarly, Actress Bimbo Ademoye has opened up on her battle with depression while mourning American DJ Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss.

While mourning the deceased, Bimbo Ademoye revealed that she also battled depression.

She wrote: “This one hurt. He was so full of life. Coming from someone who has battled depression. It’s kinda hard to hang in there. Rest well.”

In another post, the 32-year-old urged her followers to show kindness to one another because some people deal with hurt differently and not everyone can handle heartbreak.

She wrote: “BE KIND TO PEOPLE, I’M NOT PERFECT YES, BƯT PLEASE BE KIND, SOME PEOPLE DEAL WITH HURT DIFFERENTLY, SOME CAN HANDLE IT, A LOT OF PEOPLE CANT. PLEASE BE KIND.”
