A Nigerian doctor, Fatima DMG, has taken to her Facebook page to narrate a shocking encounter with a lady who was startled upon learning that her husband was responsible for her miscarriages.
According to the aggrieved lady who had 8 pregnancies, but had only delivered twice as 5 were miscarried, she was drinking tea her husband made for her after 3 miscarriages and noticed some particles at the bottom of the tea cup. She became suspicious and started monitoring her food, that was when she found out that her husband had been feeding her with an abortion drug, misoprostol.

It was also in the news recently that a Nigerian lady who suffered 2 miscarriages in 18 months, became a mum for the first time after the mishap. The U.S based Nigerian lady identified as Christiana, disclosed that she was confused because she couldn’t bear having miscarriages anymore, when the doctor told her she was pregnant again.

“How do I describe the joy within me,this pics says it all for me..a year n a half year of two miscarriage..no explanation based on my age n test done on me.
When doctor told me was pregnant of my baby I became confuse cos I can’t bear losing another baby making it three in two years but one thing kept me going,my GOD said is there anything absolutely anything too hard for him to do.it was just his word in my life against all odds..am a living witness ?????and Hey she’s so cute.
What Causes Miscarriage?
According to webmd, most miscarriages happen when the unborn baby has fatal genetic problems. Usually, these problems are unrelated to the mother. Other causes of miscarriage include:
- Infection
- Medical conditions in the mother, such as diabetes or thyroid disease
- Hormone problems
- Immune system responses
- Physical problems in the mother
- Uterine abnormalities
A woman has a higher risk of miscarriage if she:
- Is over age 35
- Has certain diseases, such as diabetes or thyroid problems
- Has had three or more miscarriages
