Popular BBNaija ex housemate, Mike Edwards, who has spent most of his life in the UK and has a British accent usually finds it very difficult to express himself in his mother tongue language, Yoruba. Hilarious video of the 28 year old wishing Nigerians on Easter Sunday in Yoruba has surfaced on the internet again.
Recall that while in Big Brother’s house, Mike’s fellow housemate, Omashola tried to teach him how to pronounce “Oshodi”, “Agbero”, and “report” with a Nigerian accent after he was given a task to sing Teni’s song titled Case. Mike ended up pronouncing report as “repo” and Oshodi as “owshowdi” because of the challenges he has speaking yoruba.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, the 1st runner up of BBNaija season 4 was heard wishing Nigerians a happy Easter in Yoruba Language. Although he tried very hard to communicate in Yoruba, but it did not end well.
