Talented fast-rising Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Buju, better known as BNXN has announced that his heart has been shattered by the love of his life.
The popular hitmaker, who was recently shaded by Yul Edochie over police harassment, took to social media and shared a couple of posts stating that he is not capable of loving anyone anymore as his girlfriend, Peggy has left him with a broken heart.
In a seemingly warning note to other prospective girlfriends, BNXN declared that he is not capable of falling in love ever again and that all he will be doing with ladies from now will be ‘rubbish’.
He wrote:
”I’m incapable of loving anybody in this world asides Peggy. before you step to me with whatever you think you got going on, know this.
I fit dey follow you catch your cruise but you no reach. Na me just dey do rubbish”
”For the first time in my life , I’m heartbroken and na me cause am.”
KFN recalls that Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin stated that BNXN, will face sanctions for assaulting a police officer.
A video making rounds on Twitter on Wednesday, featured the singer in an altercation with members of the Nigerian Police Force.
In now-deleted tweets, BNXN, formerly known as Buju, revealed that he had indeed been in a squabble with the police, which led to him spitting on an officer.
“Spat in a police officer’s face and it felt so good. I let you in my car and you dragged and tear my shirt, and start slapping me? (Sic) Nah, everybody must stop!” he wrote in the deleted post.
Reacting to the incident, Hundeyin stated via Twitter that the police officers will be punished if found guilty of misconduct.
Sharing pictures of BNXN’s tweet, he also maintained that the singer will “surely” face the law for assaulting a police officer.
“@BNXN proudly tweeted that he ‘spat in a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet.
“The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer,” Hundeyin tweeted on Wednesday.
