The hair vendor, who falsely accused Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Phyna of renting a wig without returning it, has tendered a deep apology to her.
Hours after, Phyna revealed that she had filed a petition against her, she took to her Instagram page to update her fans on the issue.
Phyna shared a printed note of the apology and undertaken the hair vendor took to regain her freedom, as the report had it that she has been in police custody.
In the undertaken, the hair vendor, identified as Olaore Oluwatobi Damilola had apologised to Phyna for embarrassing her. She cloaked it wasn’t her intention as she sought forgiveness from the reality star.
This is coming hours after Phyna had filed a petition against her for public humiliation and embarrassment.
Sharing a screenshot of the petition, Phyna had reported the wig vendor to the police for investigation over cyberbullying and conspiracy.
In the petition, she described herself as a law-abiding citizen, who doesn’t want to take the law into her own hands. As such, where she wants the police to investigate and bring the culprit to book.
Kemi Filani reported towards the end of last year that a wig vendor had accused Phyna of failure to return a rented wig. Screenshots were shared, which showed Phyna and her team rather attempting to negotiate a lower price with the vendor.
Phyna, addressing the scandal, expressed weariness at being constantly criticized online, describing the accuser as a “clout chaser” and calling for people to do better.
In an Instagram live video, she claimed the woman was blackmailing her, revealing that she doesn’t know the accuser and suggesting that her management team might have handled the transaction without informing her.
In December, the reality revealed that the police had invited her for questioning over the issue.
Some weeks back, Phyna had recounted how her controversies and scandals had made her lose 17 brand deals.
She revealed how a brand rejected working with her because they felt she was an abuser after a blog made a false accusation about her and Groovy.
The reality star stated that the trolling on social media negatively affected her as she lost 17 brand deals in total between 2022 and 2023.
Recently, Phyna in one of the episodes of her podcast, Spill with Phyna, recalled how a male fan offered her N5 million for sex at a nightclub, which she declined and ordered the man to leave her presence.
Many didn’t believe her story, especially the point where she asked to transfer the said amount to him, and reacting to it, Phyna stated that N5 million was a chicken change to her as she could make it by just sitting at home, without going out to a hustle.
She noted how N5 million is just $5000, which she has more than that in her dollar account.
