One of Nollywood’s sensational actors, Gideon Okeke has gone the extra mile to show how much he loves his job and the extent to which the industry can grow.
Taking to his Instagram page, Okeke called for investment into the Nollywood film industry. He went on to specifically call on Internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo boys to invest in filmmaking because it will be profitable in the long run.
Buttressing his point about investing in the industry, Okeke noted that film is for life because it can generate more income than expected.
Taking a swipe at rich men kids and ladies of easy virtue, Okeke urged them to get in touch with home to talk business.
He wrote: If you hold money… Invest in Film Now. E Dey Go Market like wild fire oo. Wey all the Yahoo boys… Nor let the money miss road o.
Invest in film. Let your money work for you. Send Creatives message make dem go for you.
Just hold a minimum of 50M. The rest, dem Dey run am. Now set your sights on a 200% profit margin on possibly just One exposure.

Gideon Okeke encourages Nollywood makeup department
Kemi Filani News recalls that Gideon Okeke pointed out an important aspect that needs perfection for Nollywood filmmakers and make-up artists.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Okeke said the make-up artists in the movie industry are yet to perfect the act of making artificial hair and beard. He pointed out the texture and colour amongst other things.
Okeke however noted that perfection can be attained.
He wrote: “Nollywood… We are yet to perfect this artificial hair and beard thing o. I know makeup and hair department fields some of the best hands in the business but fam… we still ain’t got it right. The texture, the color etc… We may need a whole Masterclass for that”.
Gideon Okeke calls out Frank Rajah for unpaid debt worth half a million
Kemi Filani news reported that Okeke called out filmmaker, Frank Rajah for allegedly owing him half a million naira.
Gideon Okeke claimed that he has been quiet for over 3 years about the debt.
He further claimed that alot of influential and important personalities are aware of the debt.
Quoting Frank Rajah’s word, he stated that he questioned if people would beat him over the debt.
According to Gideon, if there was structure in Nollywood, Frank wouldn’t dare bully him or try to outsmart him.
Gideon stated that Frank is one of the horrible bosses in Nollywood but would keep things silent till he releases the film or sell it to a VOD portal.
“The filmmaker, Frank Rajah and owes Me 500k! I’ve been quiet for 3years now. Some very important and influential people known this. But like Frank says : “Dem go beat me ni?” If there were structures, this kneegar wouldn’t dare bully himself or try to outsmart me of My “SWEAT EQUITY”. You’ve heard of horrible bosses in Nollywood yea? This kneegar one!
