Funke Akindele makes Mercy Aigbe cry on 44th birthday (video)

Over the weekend, actress Funke Akindele made her colleague Mercy Aigbe shed tears of Joy over her surprise public display of affection for her 44th birthday.

Kemi Filani reports that Funke Akindele who is not very big at celebrating her female colleagues especially in the Yoruba movie industry, interestingly released a video of different photos of Mercy Aigbe accompanied with a beautiful voice note where she not only prayed for Mercy but also declared how much she loves her.

The thoughtful act had the birthday celebrant, Mercy Aigbe shed tears of joy.

“Awwwww ,,,, this got me really teary! God bless your beautiful heart Iya Beji, I love you” Mercy Aigbe responded.

Kemi Filani recalls that Funke Akindele in 2021 supported Mercy Aigbe during a subtle fight with Iyabo Ojo.

Pitching her tent at Mercy Aigbe’s against Iyabo Ojo, happily married actress, Omo Ghetto movie producer and mum of twins, Funke Akindele threw the former a shout on Instagram with the caption:

“@realmercyaigbe congrats on your new whip!!! Oya buy one SUV for me too as per say You be my co -star in #omoghettothesagaabes, you go use that new SUV carry me go watch #omoghettothesagamovie today for cinema o!! God bless you more dear”

She did that after Iyabo Ojo dragged Mercy Aigbe for lying about being gifted a range rover as a show of some competition of some sort especially coming after Iyabo Ojo was given hers a few months before.

According to the mother of two, being in a competition with someone is toxic and stressful. Adding that its old fashioned lacking peace of mind because of competition.
