It is barely 24 hours since Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele joined the new app, Thread and she is already getting dragged.
Billionaire tech entrepreneur, Mark Zuckerberg, who is the founder of Facebook, has created a new App, ‘Thread’, which is quite similar to Twitter.
The App which has since gained over 10 million followers has left many hopping on it.
Joining the app, Funke Akindele made her pis which was a photo of her showing off her outfit.
Gushing over her shoe, Funke Akindele made it known that she is a lover of shoes.
“I love shoes”, she wrote.
Unfortunately, her first post didn’t sit well with many as they slammed her for being childish.
One fan stated that the new app is for meaningful conversation while cautioning her not to post about her love for shoes.
“Yeye….. Na talk we dai talk here o Aunty Funke don’t come and be posting I love shoe oo”.
Mocking her, another fan questioned the meaning of her post. He wrote, “Ewo tun ni I LOVE SHOES Bayo. Aunty funky.. we’ll follow you massively don’t worry”.
This isn’t the first time, Funke Akindele is getting dragged over her outfit.

Weeks back, Funke Akindele was heavily criticized by fashion police over her outfit to the just concluded AMVCA.
The movie star had won a green-feathered dress, which revealed some parts of her body.
A female fan who wasn’t pleased with her mode of dressing, took to the micro-blogging platform to caution her.
She praised the mother of two who she described as naturally beautiful, however, she told the actress that her dress is too revealing.
Cautioning her, the Twitter user, identified as Modupe Moses told her to cover her body, especially since she is a mother and a role model to many.
“U are beautiful naturally but the dress is too revealing and try to cover it. U are a mother and our role model to us ma”.
Replying her, Funke Akindele promised to talk to her tailor.
“Ok sir. I will tell my tailor now”.

Recently, Funke Akindele spoke out about the sky being big enough for everyone.
In what many assumed was a shade at her colleague, Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele cautioned the said colleague to stop looking for another man’s own for evil.
She advised the person to admire and pray for hers to come, without envying others.
Funke Akindele added that the sky is big for every bird to hustle and eat their own.
“Chop your own and I chop my own. The sky is big for every bird wey fit hustle to fly and chop their own. No dey look another man own for evil. You fit admire and pray for your own to come bit no dey envy. Na waste of energy”.
