Box office record-breaking Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has ended beef with her colleague, Ini Edo, as she prayerfully celebrates her birthday today.

Kemi Filani earlier reported that Ini Edo turned 41 today, the 23rd of April, 2023.

Funke Akindele shared a photo of Ini Edo on her Instagram story, wishing her with prayerful words. The mother of twin boys prayed for her colleague’s joy, peace and good health.

She wrote: @iniedo brown sugar happy birthday dear. Wishing you joy, peace, long life and good health. Enjoy your day @iniedo

Payback time as Ini Edo snubs Funke Akindele’s birthday

Recall that in August 2022, Ini Edo payback Funke Akindele for snubbing her birthday while other celebrities celebrated her.

The award-winning Funke Akindele clocked 45 in 2022, and the internet was agog with messages from her fans, colleagues and well-wishers. A list Nollywood actors and actresses including Ayo Makun, Mercy Johnson, Eniola Badmus, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Ruth Kadiri and others have celebrated Funke Akindele on social media.

It’s no surprise that Ini Edo was exempted from the list of celebrities who celebrated Funke Akindele’s birthday because the latter shunned her 40th birthday.

It is no news that celebrities celebrate their loved ones on social media even after reaching out to the celebrant privately. Social media is one of the ways many decode what is happening among Nollywood stars.

Funke Akindele neither attended her event nor celebrated her on social media, unlike the previous year when she prayed for her as she turned 39.

Back then, Funke Akindele shared a photo of the beautiful actress and wrote,” Happy Birthday my love…God bless you more, my sister!!! Love you gurl @iniedo”

However, she failed to celebrate or attend her event.

An inside source told Kemi Filani that things went awry between them while on the set of Chief Daddy 2, but this is yet to be confirmed.
