Nollywood actress and Box office Queen, Funke Akindele is in a grateful mood after receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday, March 3rd that Silverbird held its yearly Man of the Year award, at the Convention Center, Eko Hotels and Sites, Victoria Island, Lagos. At the award ceremony, Funke was honored with the Special Lifetime Achievement Award.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos from the award ceremony, Funke expressed gratitude to her fans as she dedicated her award to them and her loved ones. The movie star went on to pray for God bless.

Funke Akindele has no doubt set a huge milestone that it would be hard for any Nigerian filmmaker to break. The movie star and filmmaker, who made history in January, as the first Nigerian filmmaker to gross over a billion at cinemas, hasn’t held back on her record-breaking achievement.
In the latest update on her movie, A Tr!be Called Judah has grossed over N1.4 billion over the past few months and has no doubt become the favorite of many.
Sharing the good news, Film One, expressed gratitude to Nigerians and West Africans for making the movie Number One.
This came just a few days after she made a record in the United Kingdom, grossing eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) in just four weeks of streaming.

It’s no surprise to many because her movie grossed over One Billion naira in the Nigeria box office within four weeks of its release, thereby setting a record for the Nigerian film industry.
