Prior to the resumption of International airport since it was shut to help curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic disease, in March 2020, the Federal Government of Nigeria has decided to release some guidelines for people that will be travelling into the country.
Inline with the resumption plans, the country has now released fresh guidelines that every air passenger must abide by in order to gain access into the country.
Some of the guidelines includes paying for a secondary COVID-19 test from a website before boarding from the country of departure and having a valid positive COVID-19 test which is not more than 7 days from the country of departure.
According to the FG, the rules are quite strict as air carriers will be fined at least $3500 for any passenger that breaks any of the rules.
