The demolition of Yinka Ayefele’s music house, has led to a new spate of controversy about APC on social media as residents of Oyo State and Nigerians in general, have expressed their disappointment over the incident.
Fans of Yinka Ayefele’s music house/radio station, recalled how Governor Abiola Ajimobi was once interviewed by the radio station after he won his second term. While some alleged that this is a deliberate attack on the press, others stated that demolition was politically motivated.

Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh 105.9 FM in Ibadan, Oyo State demolished. There’s a deliberate clampdown against the PRESS under this government.
The only crime of this FM station is that they are too critical of government. Which way Nigeria? NEVER AGAIN

Years back when Ajumobi was constructing d road, he said it wasn’t necessary 2 pull down Yinka Ayefele’s MH. D gov said if you can’t add to d fortune of a physically challenged person, don’t remove from them. 2day, with Ayefele’s Fresh FM deemed 2 be anti APC, it became necessary

After he won his reelection Gov Ajimobi visited Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh FM & had this interview. He ordered the demolition of the same radio station today
As usual, known pro-APC handles will try to justify this act of executive thuggery. But even here you can hear, the reason why – Yinka Ayefele & his Fresh FM were considered opponents. This was just about cutting them down to size
