‘Such a beautiful gesture’ Fans hail Teni as she sponsors a lady to Dubai after wishing to ‘Japa’

Nigerian singer Teniola Akpata popularly known as Teni has fulfilled the dream of a die-hard fan after wishing to travel out of the country someday.

In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, the lady identified as Ella of Lagos revealed she visited the airport and wished to ‘Japa’, a popular cliche for those always yearning to leave Nigeria.

Luck shone on the Lady as Teni responded to the tweet asking if she had a passport, and she responded in the affirmative.

Teni said the lady would be going with her to Dubai and urged her to pick one person as all expenses, including feeding, accommodation, and shopping would be paid for her.

Kemi Filani news recalls that weeks back, Teni cut off her performance and ran for her life at a show in Rivers state.

She was performing when a fight began between a guy and another.

A viral video made available online showed that at the sound of gunshots, the music star ran out of the show for her own safety.

Teni is known for her afropop hit “Millionaire” and “Uyo Meyo”. She was allegedly performing her top single “Hustle” off her most recent album, when the incident happened in Port Harcourt.

Teni was also featured to perform at the “Rich and Famous” night in Owerri on December 30,2021. She posted the event on her official social media platform.
