Falz tackles Nigerian pastors over New Year’s prophecies, insists they jinxed 2020

Popular Nigerian singer and actor, Folarin Falana also known as Falz has taken to social media to tackle Nigerian pastors who give predictions about the New year. 

According to the 30year old rapper via his Twitter handle pleaded with the pastors not to make predictions about 2021 hence they might likely jinx it as they did with 2020.

”Don’t make any predictions about this year, please. Na una jinx 2020” – He wrote

Kemi Filani News recalls that Nigerian singer Falz as opened up on how being a lawyer aided his career as a musician.

According to the Falz who is also the son of one of Nigeria’s senior advocate, Femi Falana, some of the skills he acquired as a lawyer have helped in making him a better artiste in his chosen career as a musician.

The UK-based University of Reading Law graduate also disclosed during a recent Instagram Live session that being a lawyer helps him analyze things critically and this is the secret behind his meaningful lyrics.

“On the skills helping me as an artiste), I would say analytical mindset because as a lawyer one has to critically analyze things. My lyrics usually have a lot of depth. I do not just make music, I make sure it has a lot of meaning.”

Kemi Filani recalls that on Falz’s 30th birthday, the rapper paid a tribute to victims who lost their lives at Lekki Toll Gate during the EndSARS Protest. He also prays for a better tomorrow and Nigeria.

He wrote:

“Mixed feelings. It has been a week since we lost our brave soldiers at the toll gate. I have also now officially been on this earth for 30 years. I pray for a much better tomorrow. I pray for a Nigeria that I can truly be proud to call home”
