“My mental health made me sad” BBNaija’s Erica Nlewedim opens up on her last days in BBN (Video)

Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown ‘ housemate, Erica Nlewedim has opened up on the hard times she faced while in BBN house.

The reality star who got disqualified following her altercation with housemate, Laycon in the reality show, revealed that her last days in the house were filled with sadness.

Erica Nlewedim made this known during an interview with Chude Jideonwo where she opened up on her mental health and life after BBN.

Erica revealed that because of her mental health, she was very sad and had stopped smiling.

To worsen it, the reality star got disqualified and on coming out of the house, she was overwhelmed with the love she received.

Erica admitted that it was a lot of things for her to take especially knowing that her life had changed.

For her, she needed the time off to adjust herself to avoid being overwhelmed by the outpour of love.

“Well, because of my mental health, when I was in the House, towards the end of my stay I was getting really sad like I wasn’t smiling anymore, I was not happy. Then coming out in that shocking way, coming to face the world and hearing all the things people had to say about me and seeing all the love knowing that oh I have a new…it was just a lot of things to take in at the same time. Plus knowing that my life has changed. I’m just trying to adjust so many things, so I needed that time, I didn’t want to just be overwhelmed and must breakdown or something, that was the best thing”.

Kemi Filani news recalls Erica had gallantly returned to the photo and video-sharing app Instagram.

Erica, who had been away from the social media platform, shared jaw-dropping pictures of herself rocking royal outfits.

Erica also sent a message to some of her critics, anticipating when she would stop trending online that her reign would never end.

She captioned the photo: “My reign will never end”.
