Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate and actress, Erica Nlewedim has expressed sadness over the loss of her jewelry in South Africa.

Kemi Filani reported last week that the reality star and several Nollywood actresses had stormed South Africa for the premiere of Netflix’s Queen Charlotte.

The upcoming actress revealed that she misplaced all of her jewelry apart from the Cartier bracelet she would at the airport.

We don’t know if it was stolen or the reality star was careless with it.

“All my jewelry is gone, apart from my Cartier bracelet I was wearing at the airport”, she tweeted.

Last year, several celebrities had their valuables stolen on their various vacation and work trips overseas.

Toke Makinwa robbed off valuables in London

Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa took to social media to reveal that she was robbed of her valuables in London.

Makinwa was among the guests who graced the white wedding of actress, Rita Dominic and her husband, Fidelis Anosike at Selby Abbey, North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday, 26th November 2022.

Three days after the wedding, Makinwa took to her Instagram story to reveal that she has been robbed. According to the 38-year-old, all her valuables were taken away. She lamented that she is speechless and wondered how it could have happened to her.

She wrote: Just got robbed in London… I’m speechless. All my valuables are gone. Gosh, how could this happen to me?

Singer Yemi Alade robbed in Cote d’Ivoire

Also, singer Yemi Alade revealed how she was robbed in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire where she went to perform.

Narrating how the robbery incident took place, Yemi Alade via Instagram on Monday lamented how thieves got into her hotel room ransacked her belongings, and stole all the money they could find.

She wrote: “A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal: all the money they could find, Very good.”

Alade had attended and performed at the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend.

But responding to well-wishers’ concerns, Alade noted “They are investigating, looking through cameras and all but she knows the money is all gone by now.

“The suspects are all denying,” she retorted while shaking her head.
