Big Brother Naija Season 7 ex-housemate, Daniella Peters has joined other celebrities to commemorate the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
Taking to her Twitter page, Daniella shared a powerful poem she composed titled “what is my name”. In the poem, she talked about a country that preaches about democracy, however, the only thing that is left in it is the “mockery of the democratic vision” that it once had. She said the leaders in the past have gone in vain however she doesn’t want to go too much into the information.

Kemifilani News recalls that protest rocked the nation in 2020 after youths took to the streets to protest against the brutality Nigerian Police Force Unit β Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The protest which lasted for weeks had its epicentre at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos where many youths converged to air their grievances.
However, on 20th October 20, 2020, some soldiers stormed the spot to disperse the youths, with many now claiming that a massacre took place on the night.
To mark the 2yeara anniversary, social media has been flooded with messages to mourn the lives lost.
Memorial walk
Celebrities such as Mr Macaroni, Flaz, and others stormed the Lekki toll gate earlier today to stage a procession in memorial of lives lost during the #EndSARS protest of October 2020.
The peaceful walk sees Nigerians come out in their large numbers to remember compatriots who were shot in cold blood at that tollgate. However, the Nigerian Police did what they know how to do best; They disperse peaceful walkers with tear gas and harassed journalists.
