The Elegushi of Ikate land, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi and his beautiful second wife, Queen Hadiza have shared beautiful photos online to mark their 5th wedding anniversary today the 3rd of May 2024.

The monarch shared the photos of himself and his wife dazzling in matching colourful Yoruba traditional outfits. He is in awe of his wife’s strong commitment and enduring love for the past five years.

Elegushi celebrates Queen Hadiza for reaching a milestone of over one thousand eight hundred days of friendship and non stop love. He appreciates her for choosing to spending the journey with him.

“Reaching a 5-year anniversary signifies more than just half a decade together; it’s a testament to strong commitment and enduring love.

Our fifth anniversary is a milestone – over 1,800 days of friendship and nonstop love.

Happy 5th anniversary, my Queen,” Elegushi wrote on his verified Instagram page.

A few days ago netizens raised concern about the health of the Elegushi.

A video shared online by City People captured the king sitting with his beautiful first wife Queen Sekinat Aramide Elegushi. The lovely couple wore attire matching those at the event.

The video shared online called the attention of netizens who expressed concerns about the Monarch’s health. Many seek answers to know if the king is having stroke or he’s been sick for a while.

Amidst cheers and celebrations Elegushi and Queen Hadiza welcomed the King’s heir, a baby boy in August 2020. There was wild jubilation amidst the royal family.

It was later reported that the couple lost their son, who was the only heir in 2022 after a year and seven months of birth. The cause of the prince’s death remains unknown as the royalty refuses to divulge the cause of his death.

The king had a private wedding with his second wife, Hadiza the daughter of a former liaison officer to President Shehu Shagari, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, in Kano.
