EFCC’s war against Naira Marley and Mompha
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have stated that they have found damning evidence against Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley.
The anti-graft agency revealed that the laptop and iPhone found on the singer showed that he frequented top five most-visited websites which dealt in buying and selling stolen credit cards.
They also found an app which he uses to disguise his identity and location. The EFCC also stated that Naira Marley and his accomplices conspired to use different Access Bank ATM Cards to defraud their victims.
The continuation of the case against him came up around the same period Dubai based big boy, Mompha, was arrested in Abuja.
Mompha was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport on his way to Dubai where he works as a Bureau De Change operator. According to the EFCC, he’s being held on allegation bordering on money laundering and internet fraud.
