DJ Cuppy laments as she loses her Twitter verification badge

Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy has taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to lament over her Twitter verification.

The daughter of Billionaire Femi Otedola, who begged the Twitter boss two years back for verification, had been stripped of the verification for unknown reasons.

Lamenting, Cuppy noted how Twitter had taken off her verification badge and her friend, Lerry.

“They thief my blue tick and my Lerry for my hand”.

Taking to her comment section, while many sympathized with her, others made fun of her.

A few days back, DJ Cuppy had celebrated her reign as the most followed woman on Twitter in Nigeria, boasting a staggering 6.2 million followers.

This revelation elicited a reaction a tweet from a user named Izzy Body, who humorously remarked that having millions of followers but not a man was crãzy. DJ Cuppy, taking it in stride, shared the comment on her Instagram story, playfully acknowledging that Twitter is not for the faint-hearted.

Last year was a tough time for DJ Cuppy, who was set to walk down the aisle for the first time. Unfortunately, things didn’t go the way she wanted as she parted ways with her fiance over undisclosed reasons.

Opening up about her failed engagement while speaking on the Wimbiz stage, she noted how she was engaged in 2022 but now is single, a she went on to list out the things she failed at this year. However, her story is still happening and there is more to come for her.

Her ex on his part, revealed why he dumped her, stating that his exes are shit drivers, a statement which didn’t sit well with Cuppy. Hitting back, she posted a picture of herself enjoying a dumpling in a restaurant, with a caption stating that the only dumpling she’s getting is the one on her plate.

In November, Cuppy had lamented over their failed engagement as it would have been their anniversary month. Brooding over it, Cuppy lamented over how she and Ryan had become strangers.

Consoling her, one Netizen identified as Akinwunmi advised the daughter of Femi Otedola to give up on love and just have kids.

In a later post, DJ Cuppy offered important advice to those in love, stating that the worst prison in the world is a home without peace. As such, one should be careful of who they fall in love with.
