Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, has joined the millions of people mourning the shocking death of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the founder of Fountain Life Church.
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that the popular clergyman is dead.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s death was announced on the official Instagram page of the church.
The church’s post reads thus:
“The Fountain of Life Church Family, in total submission to the will of God Almighty announces the passing unto greater glory of our Father, Teacher, a great servant of the Most High God, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, Founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, who passed unto glory on the 7th of August 2023 in the USA.
“We are in total submission to you LORD!!!
“We thank the Lord for the gift of a great leader!!!”.
Taking to his Instagram page, Deyemi revealed that his heart is so heavy with the sad news.
However, he is giving praise to God for a life lived full and committed to the Will of God.
The screen god added that he praise God that heaven has received one more son and declared that the seeds he planted will grow and flourish through generations.
“My heart is so heavy, yet in all things we must praise. So I praise God for a life lived fully and committed totally to the Will of God. I praise God that heaven just received one more son and the seeds he planted will grow and flourish through generations yet to come”.
Taiwo Odukoya marks one-year remembrance of his late wife, Nomthi Odukoya
Just months before his death, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya had marked the one-year remembrance of his late wife, Nomthi Odukoya.
The pastor’s wife passed away on November 9th, 2021 after years of battling cancer.
Marking her one-year remembrance, Pastor Taiwo took to his official Instagram page to pay tribute to his late wife.
He noted how the late Nomthi Odukoya was a gift to the world.
The clergyman expressed gratitude to God for the times they spent together as he admitted that he still misses her.
“You were truly a gift, never to be forgotten. I am forever grateful to God for the life we shared. I miss you Nomthi”.
