Davido speaks on beef between Nigeria and South Africa

Davido has reacted to the online beef between Nigeria and South Africa which was sparked by xenophobic attacks.

Nigerians in South Africa were attacked by people in the country who said they were fed up with their activities in the country.

Some videos showed large mobs attacking some people believed to be Nigerians whose shops and business were looted and burnt.

“We need more unity in Africa. Even with the things that happened online with South Africa and Nigeria, I feel like it was just hurting a lot of people in between. We’ve been brothers and sisters for song long”, Davido was reported to have said.

The attacks also caused a rift between Burna Boy and AKA who took to Twitter to make threats against each other.
