“How my wife, Chioma ignored me the first time we met despite being a star” Davido spills (Video)

Afrobeats singer, Davido has revealed how he met his wife, Chioma Rowland while in school.
Recall that the two had both attended Babcock University where Davido was studying Music and Chioma was studying Economics.
In an interview with YouTuber and vlogger, Tayo Aina, Davido finally opened up on how he ‘toasted’ his now wife, Chioma Rowland.
According to him, he had wooed her in his first year at the University and she had turned him down despite his celebrity status.
Davido narrated how he sent his PA to call Chioma and she declined, but they later met up in Lagos where things got heated from there.
He said,
“I was in school for a year before I blew up. That was when I met my wife. I remember the day I saw her. I can never forget
I was in a Prado, And I looked behind and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma.
I told Lat (Davido’s PA) omo I like that girl, Go and call that girl for me.
He called her but she did not answer me at the time.
Later on, she came to Lagos and we linked up. And I was like, Yeah, I got you.”

Last month, Davido opened up about his married life to Chioma.
In an interview, the singer disclosed that he has known Chioma for 20 years since they met in College.
He described marrying his wife as the best decision he has ever made.
Spilling more, he stated that he and Chioma grew up together and have become so used to each other over the years.
He added that they both understand each other and are a perfect match.
Davido traditionally weds Chioma
Recall that in November, Davido and Chioma held their traditional wedding.
Gistlovers blog alleged that the singer secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death.
The traditional wedding which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed.
According to the blog, Chioma’s bride price had been paid in full.
The traditional wedding was held on November 6th, to console Chioma and assure her of her place with Davido.
