Davido reacts to being nominated along side Mayorkun as artist of the year for Headies award

Sensational singer and CEO of DMW, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido has reacted to being nominated alongside his crew member, Mayorkun as artist of the year for Headies award.

Kemi Filani recalls that few hours ago, Nigeria’s most prestigious music award show, The Headies, released this year’s nominee’s list and to the surprise of many, Mayorkun and his boss Davido was listed among singers vying for the Artistes of the Year.

Reacting to this, the omo babaolowo crooner who could not hide is joy took to twitter to express how he feels.

According to Davido, his little brother, Mayorkun made him proud and emotional for making it to the category. “LIL BRO LEVELED UP!!! I’m emotional!!” Davido tweeted.

Other artists on the category battling for the award are Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage.
