Nigerian singer Davido has penned an emotional tribute to his photographer Fortune who died on Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021, a few months after Obama DMW died.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Fortune reportedly drowned at a location in Lagos during a photoshoot.
Taking to his Instagram page, Davido recalled his experiences with Fortune stating he is still in denial that Fortune is dead.
Davido said Fortune never left his side for one day since they met as he was all about him like nothing else mattered to him.
According to Davido, Fortune went from being a stranger to become one of his closest confidants within weeks, and there was never a place he entered without Fortune and his lens.
Davido said that he is grateful that they had opportunities to travel together and create many iconic moments. He added that Fortune would never be forgotten even though he was dead.
