Award-winning singer, Davido has stirred mixed reactions from netizens with his tribute to late singer, Mohbad.
As many fans and lovers of the singer express their condolences to his family, Davido has taken his to the extreme.
At his Timeless tour in Manchester yesterday night, Davido paid tribute to Mohbad before commencing his show.
He noted how many artists are going through a lot privately, but have to come on stage to perform for their fans.
“As we come on stage to perform for you guys everything, you guys might not know what we artists can be going through. We are human beings too. It takes a lot for us to come out to perform and deliver but we do that because we love you.
I want to give a special shout-out to my brother, I know you are in heaven watching down. Tonight we gonna turn out for you”.
Davido’s tribute was however met with mixed reactions; while others praised him for his sweet gesture, others questioned what assistance he offered to Mohbad during his trying times while on earth.

This tribute is coming hours after he reportedly donated 2 million naira to the singer’s family.
The news was made known by Mohbad’s father, who expressed gratitude to the singer for his financial support.
The tragic loss of Mohbad on Tuesday evening is still eliciting different reactions from celebrities and netizens alike.
Recall that when news broke out of his demise, a host of other famous artists including Burna Boy, Bella Shmurda, Zlatan, Olamide, Omah Lay, and more reacted to his passing.
Other celebrities like Bukunmi Oluwasina, Iyabo Ojo, Ijebu, Uche Ogbodo, Tacha, and Do2dtun; to mention but a few mourned him. Even his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his former label mate, Zinoleesky paid their last respect to him.
