Davido set to splash millions on Gwagon for Chioma (Video)
Nigerian singer Davido has ordered a new car for his woman, Chioma Rowland.
Since the couple got back together, Davido, as well as friends of the singer, have been spoiling Chioma with material gifts.
The singer has ordered a Gwagon for his 002.
Celebrity auto-dealer, Adesuwa Renee Ogiozee, known on social media as Renee5star, disclosed the news.
He shared a screenshot of his chat with the singer.
From the chat, Davido had reached out to him to get a new whip for his queen.
Renee wrote, “@davido strikes again! This go over choke. Happiness is what we got on this side, your celebrity car dealer is ready to deliver again”.
Davido buys Chioma a Porsche car
In 2018, Davido broke the internet when he bought a Porsche valued at N45million for Chioma, who was then 23 years old.
He presented the car to her during her birthday dinner.
He wrote “I give my baby ASSURANCE!!! I love you baby!! WE IN THIS 4 LIFE!! ❤❤❤❤??? @thechefchi !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIOM CHIOM !! FROM ME TO YOU!! I BOUGHT MY BABY A PORSCHE!! ??? I give my baby ASSURANCE!!! I love you baby!! WE IN THIS 4 LIFE!! ❤❤❤❤??? @thechefchi !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIOM CHIOM !! FROM ME TO YOU!! I BOUGHT MY BABY A PORSCHE!! ???”
Further speaking out on why he bought her the car, he wrote,
There’s nothing like peace of mind !! For the 1st time in a long time am actually at 100 percent PEACE!! Thank you Father”.
However, according to research conducted by auto aficionados, the truck was a 2011 model which retails from about ($25,000) N10 million, exclusive of customs and other charges, which can never make it amount to N45 million.
The total value of the vehicle was usually less than N20 million. However, the trim Davido purchased seemed to be a full option, probably bringing the car’s total value to about N20 million.
Davido clears the air on Chioma’s Porsche car
Many considered the Porsche a publicity stunt, as Chioma wasn’t seen with the car in public.
Chioma had never driven herself, and nobody saw her in the gifted Porsche.
There were side talks that the gift and the whole ‘paparazzi’ was a stunt.
Touching on it, Davido revealed what happened to his woman’s Porsche car.
Davido had put doubts to rest, saying that his woman could not drive a car yet and also hated the publicity and glam that would come with riding such a luxury car. Hence, the Porsche was still in their garage, waiting for Chioma to become a certified driver.
Responding to trolls who referred to Chioma’s unseen car, Davido asked if they would apply as her driver as she urgently needed one.
