Controversial Twitter personality Daniel Regha has once again stirred the pot with his latest comments on gender equality in Nigeria.
In a recent Twitter thread, Daniel Regha called out Nigerian women who advocate for gender equality but expect men to bear the brunt of financial responsibilities, especially during festive seasons like Christmas.
He pointed out the hypocrisy in demanding equal rights while also expecting men to pay for luxuries like wigs and handbags.
“Gender Equality until it’s time to foot ur own Christmas bills; I guess Equal Rights has nothing to do with baby buy me wigs & handbag.”
Recall thag few days ago, Kemi Filani reported that Regha criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Regha found Pastor Adeboye’s revelation about his own death, involving eating pounded yam, to be disturbing and inappropriate, especially coming from a religious leader.
He called out Nigerian pastors for constantly seeking for attention. He expressed that Pastor Adeboye predicting his death was very upsetting. He also stated that 99% of the time the prophecies that Nigerian pastors talk about do not come to pass.
Further extending his critique to corporate entities, Regha slammed major telecom companies in Nigeria, including MTN. He accused them of prioritizing advertising over network quality. According to Regha, if these companies invested as much in improving their services as they do in marketing, they would significantly enhance network stability across Nigeria.
