A former Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Osun State and senator who represented the Osun-West Senatorial district until June 2019, Ademola Adeleke, has had cause to rejoiceafter been missing in action for some time.
His daughter Adenike has just graduated from the Oakwood University in Alabama, US and he can’t keep calm.
Sharing photos from her graduation ceremony, Ademola Adeleke wrote “Glory be to God! I’m so proud my beautiful daughter 😘 Adenike Marlyn Adeleke graduated today from Oakwood university in Alabama class of 2020 please help me congratulate her 👩🎓@nikos_babii 👏 👏 👏”
The Graduate, Adenike also wrote “I GRADUATE TODAY !!!! Lord knows I’ve been counting down the days 😅…….. even though i won’t be walking across the stage due to covid 19 , I’m super excited I’m finally done 🙏🏾 Gods plan !! “Let your dreams be bigger than your fears, your actions louder than your words, and your faith stronger than your feelings.”
Fondly called the ‘dancing Senator’, Adeleke went off the social radar ever since he lost the ‘battle’ for the Osun governorship seat, to his main contender, the All Progressives Congress’ Gboyega Oyetola.
The politician who came close to being called the Governor of Osun State was obviously distraught when he wasn’t declared the winner. Though Adeleke maintained that the results of the election were manipulated, the Supreme Court has since affirmed Oyetola’s victory.
