Nigerian dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan now known as Madrina has appreciated YBNL boss, Olamide for gifting her N1 million.
Taking to her Instagram story, the 32-year-old singer recalled how a guy told her not to make the news public because he felt the money was too small. She revealed that she stopped talking to the guy immediately following his statement because she didn’t understand why he would say such.
She added that though she wanted to keep Olamide’s gesture private, his statement made her do otherwise. She noted how the same N1 million was what her former label loaned her and yet still insulted her
Expressing gratitude to Olamide, she wrote,
“Told someone Olamide sent me a million naira some months ago and the guy said I shouldn’t put it out there because the money is too small. Had to stop talking to that guy cause I no understand. Although it was never my intention to put it out here but that statement almost made me post it immediately. 1 million naira wey my own tr!bes man loan me insult me join. Abeg. Olamide thank you”.
This is coming weeks after Cynthia Morgan called out the music industry over its fake love and friendship, stating that people only remember you when you’re trending or they need you to help them kill a beat.
Cynthia recounted how during her crisis only two people showed up for her, while others especially those she had worked with shunned her.
Last month, Cynthia Morgan called out Jude Okoye over her royalties, noting how he claimed she owed him money and wasn’t productive in his label, yet he collected millions from her after her performances on stage.
She added that though she might be quiet, it doesn’t mean she is a fo0l as she noted how Jude hasn’t given her ‘her’ royalties on her intellectual properties to fate.
Madrina, as she is also known also slammed his younger brother, Paul Okoye reminding him that he still owed her for the feature she did for him and his then-girlfriend, while he was still married to his now ex-wife, Anita Okoye. Cynthia was indirectly implying that Paul had cheated on his then-wife.
