Cubana Chief Priest hails Obi Cubana

Celebrity bar man and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest has dispelled rumours of a beef between him and his former boss, Obinna Iyiegbu better known as Obi Cubana.

Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest who had a rocky relationship for years settled their beef in 2021, however, since Cubana Chief Priest attended Obi Cubana’s mother funeral, much hasn’t been heard if the two.

Many felt Cubana Chief Priest had once again parted ways with Obi as the former failed to promote Obi’s new business, Odogwu Bitters.

However, proving that their bond is still strong, Chief Priest shared a video of them together as they party at what appears to be a club.

Sharing the brotherly moment on his Instagram page, he wished them a blessed, fruitful, amazing, interesting, sumptuous and prosperous new week.

He went on to describe Obi Cubana as his overall boss.

“I wish y’all a blessed, fruitful, amazing, sumptuous & prosperous new week amen. @obi_cubana My overall boss”.

His fans took to the comment section to praise them for maintaining the bond.

Kemi Filani news recalls Chief Priest had reacted to the arrest of his former boss, Obi Cubana, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for money laundering on Monday, 1st November 2021.

The Anambra-born club owner, who arrived at the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at noon, was interrogated by operatives of the commission.

Though allegations against the socialite were sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that his case borders alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Since then, several reactions had trailed his arrest.

Cubana Chief Priest showed his love and support for him as he stated that what does not kill them makes them stronger. He added that the Igbos were used to been victimised by the government.

However, when Cubana Chief Priest was arrested by EFCC this year, Cubana didn’t show public love and support for him which made many believe that they had parted ways.
