Celebrity bar man and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest has commended a patriotic Nigerian for her act of bravery at her polling unit.
Kemi Filani learnt the incident occurred at a polling unit in the Surulere area of the state on Saturday, February 25th.
Voting in the presidential and National Assembly polls was ongoing when thugs stormed the location and destroyed election materials.
They hit people that tried to confront them including the brave woman who sustained a head injury.
However, this didn’t stop the woman from voting as she returned to her polling unit after her wounds were treated to cast her vote.
Applauding her, Cubana Chief Priest described her as the Hero of the day as she is a true definition of a New Nigeria.
He urged his millions of followers to show her love and support by donating to her.
In a bid to convince people to give to her, he revealed that the woman lost so much blood as a result of the injury and her worn out tissues needs to be replenish.
“Hero of the Day, She is the true definition of a New Nigeria. Abeg make una swipe to show her love make she fit replenish her worn out tissues, blood wey she lose no be here. Nothing too small for her bravery towards Naija. She will never regret”.
Chioma Akpotha cries out in fear as thugs attack her polling unit
Kemi Filani reported that Chioma Akpotha was also attacked by thugs at her polling unit.
The movie star had cried out in fear after being attacked at her polling unit in Lagos.
Though not disclosing her location, Chioma Akpotha revealed that she was mishandled by her fellow women.
The actress, who was on Instagram live captured the moment political thugs disrupted her polling unit and scattered ballot boxes.
Many of the voters, present at the polling unit were seen running helter skelter for safety, while others were seen challenging the thugs.
However, normalcy was restored at her polling unit as voters were able to cast their vote orderly with the present of armed forces.
Singer Falz and other voters allegedly attacked at Ikate, Lekki
Also, singer Falz had been attacked at his polling unit.
According to information reaching Kemi Filani, the singer and other voters in Ikate, Lagos had been attacked by thugs and his phone seized.
The report which made rounds had it that the ballot papers were torn apart and scattered by the area boys because of the massive support for Labour Party.
Kemi Filani also learnt that voters have being scared back homes for safety as many phones have been seized.
