On-air personality Daddy Freeze has criticized the gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori for holding a prayer session at the recently Ikoyi collapsed building.
This comes after the singer had reacted to a viral video of her and her crew praying at the Ikoyi collapsed building. However, she reported the video is not a recent event, and she was not at the place when the unfortunate incident happened.
In reaction to the singer’s post to ensure people’s minds are at rest, Daddy Freeze had questioned her purpose for being on the site of an uncompleted building praying with no safety hat, goggles or shoes.
According to him, construction sites are not venues for prayers, as he implored the singer to avoid situations that would endanger her life.
The media personality said even after the prayers, the 21 storey building eventually collapsed with people trapped inside, whether dead or alive.
He wrote:
Should you be on the site of an uncompleted building praying, singing and dancing with no safety hat, goggles or shoes? Stop endangering your lives! Construction sites are not venues for prayers. With all the prayers did the building still not collapse?? God cannot be mocked
