Comedian Sabinus grateful as he bags first International award

Nigerian entertainer and skit maker, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, also known by his stage names Mr Funny and Oga Sabinus, is feeling grateful as he wins new award.

Excited Sabinus took to his Instagram to share the goodnews as posted pictures of himself holding the award.

It is reported that the award is an African content creator award which was hosted by the Rwanda International movie awards for the 2023 edition.

He is known for his ability to make people laugh with his unique brand of humor and his talent for creating hilarious skits.

Mr Funny has gained a massive following on social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube, where he regularly posts his skits and comedy videos. His skits often feature relatable and funny scenarios that resonate with viewers and have helped him to build a loyal fan base.

Brodashaggi, Sabinus, Brain jotter top 2022 list of Skitmakers

In 2022, Award-winning skitmakers, Brodashaggi and Sabinus ranked the top Skit Makers list in Nigeria.

According to a list released by digital analytics firm, Dataleum, entertainer Samuel Perry, also known as Broda Shaggi, emerged the top skit maker on Instagram in Nigeria in 2022.

The list, which is published quarterly, reported on the skit making sector of the entertainment industry.

Following Brodashaggi on the Top skitmakers list of 2022 was Sabinus also known as Mr Funny. Brainjotter, Cute Abiola, and Taaooma, also ranked top on the list.

According to the firm, from January to December 2022, Broda Shaggi posted 270 skits on his Instagram page, resulting in over 175 million views. The skit maker topped the chart in the first quarter of 2022, and followed closely in the second place in the remaining quarter.

Sabinus also saw great success in 2022, recording impressive growth in followers and garnering over 169 million views from 191 skits.
