Comedian Bovi Ugboma confirms Julius Agwu is hale and hearty, reveals his marital status

Popular Nigerian Comedian, Bovi Ugboma has again confirmed that his one time ailing colleague, Julius Agwu is back on his feet after years of incapability.

Bovi and Julius were spotted at Funny Bone’s wedding, enjoying the ceremony.

Through Bovi’s post on his Instagram page, he also confirmed that Julius Agwu is indeed done and dusted with his marriage to Ibiere.

“Live at #stanleysangel . At the reception of the newly married @funnyboneofficial With the Formely married @mrjuliusagwu1,” Bovi wrote.

Kemi Filani News had earlier reported that a few days after Julius Agwu’s wife reportedly abandoned her matrimonial home after 14 years of marriage, her friends gifted her a box filled with money.

Ibiere who has since reversed to her maiden name (Ibiere Maclayton ) on Instagram marked her 40th birthday recently and her friends made her tear up with their surprise gift.

Julius Agwu and Ibiere have been going through trying times for some years on account of Agwu’s ill health. 

In 2015, the comedian, singer and writer was diagnosed with a brain tumour, when three tumours were found in his brain.

Though it is not clear what led to the breakdown of the marriage, there have been several speculations bandied about, with some saying the couple was going through financial crisis occasioned by Agwu’ ill health. Meanwhile, many had applauded Ibiere in the past for standing by Agwu at the height of his sickness and caring for him.
