Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun popularly known as AY has blasts the Buhari led over the quick response to the ban of Twitter in Nigerian.
Kemifilani had reported that the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension of the social blogging site on Friday.
The suspension is not unconnected to President Buhari’s controversial tweet that was deleted by the management of Twitter on Wednesday.
The Nigerians woke up on Saturday morning encountering difficulty accessing their Twitter handles while some navigated the hurdle using virtual private networks.
In a post shared on Instagram, the Nigerian comedian tagged the move as a misplaced priority. He requested the Federal Government to apply such a response to end Boko Haram, insecurity and poverty.
He wrote: In the same spirit of rapid response, can we also wake up to the news that Boko Haram, insecurity and poverty has been banned in Nigeria? Misplaced priorities.
