Netizens have slammed Singer Davido’s hypeman, Edward Chukuma Ijah, better known as Special Spesh, for saying Nigerians working in America are getting involved in modern-day slavery.
Special Spesh, who is currently in the US, has advised Nigerians working their way out of the country for greener pastures that employment in America is more like being in captivity. But, adding that, nobody should come for his head for spilling the truth.
Having to pay outrageous bills while still struggling to put food on the table takes a very hardworking person to confront the challenge,
He wrote:
THE WAY PPL HAVE TO GO TO WORK IN AMERICA IS MODERN-DAY SLAVERY
IM WEAK
However, those aspiring to move to America have opposed his opinion based on the current situation in the country, revealing that the working system over there is better than here.
