Just like many, Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke is reflecting on the past year.
As we step into 2023, in few hours, Chacha Eke has listed out all the things she lost in 2022. Describing the year as a roller coaster, she revealed that she lost her mind, lost things she didn’t need anymore and people who believed it was over for her.
However, Chacha Eke is grateful that her God hasn’t left her and no matter how many times she falls, she would always rise up again.
“Dammit 2022 you had my heart in my mouth.
Yes indeed was a roller coaster year.
I lost my mind to find myself again.
I lost things I thought I don’t need anymore.
I lost people who believed it was over for me.
Looking back now, all I have in my heart is gratitude. I’m grateful that my “Chi” is steadily playing “Catch” with me
9times I fall but I get up 10times.
That said, Thank you 2022.
I’m ready now. Roll in 2023.
If it ever gets stormy, rocky, oceanic, mountainous…. It won’t even matter!!
Bravery is an accessory that I wear so flamboyantly.
You know what my babies. 2023 is right around the corner. Let’s make that jump!! I’ll see you there. God bless everyone”.
Chacha Eke speaks on her growth
Days back, Chacha Eke had penned an appreciation post to the public for the massive love and attention she received following her testimony.
The mother of four had spoken out for the first time on her battle with bipolar disorder and how it messed her up. Her testimony had stirred the emotions of many as they flooded social media with love and prayers for the actress.
In a post on her Instagram page, Chacha appreciated them for the love.
Speaking on her growth, the actress revealed that she is getting older and bolder.
“Older & bolder
Thank you all for your love”.
Chacha Eke testifies in church
This came after a clip of Chacha Eke testifying in a Church, and appreciating her estranged husband, Austin Fanni for sticking with her despite her mental struggle, surfaced online.
Kemi Filani recalls that in June, the actress announced her separation from her husband and father of her four kids, Austin Fanni.
Detailing why she left her marriage, Chacha Eke said she chose to quit while she was still alive than leave as a corpse.
“Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping, and praying for a better tomorrow.
I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”. I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years. True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise”.
For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors, and my parents.” she announced.
However, while testifying in the church, she revealed that she is back with her husband again, and thanked him for sticking with her during her trying mental health state”.
