Actress Carol King raises alarm as maid abscond with her $700 and €40

Veteran actress, Carol King has called out her maid, Glory Effiong for allegedly absconding with her money.

Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of the maid, she narrated how her maid absconded with her $700 and €40.

She revealed that the maid has been working with her for five months and had left for her off day on Friday but didn’t return as expected.

Carol King stated that she got worried thinking a mishap had happened to her but she called her phone and she didn’t pick up her calls.

She further placed a call to the agent, who recommended the maid to alert him of the situation.

Carol King recounted how she had a bad dream before the maid’s disappearance Wich sparked her suspicion that something was awoof.

Her instinct made her search her house for any stolen item and she discovered that the maid had stolen 700 dollars and 40 Euros from her purse.

Calling the attention of the public, she alerted them to be wary of her to avoid being her next victim.

“This is Glory Effiong. She has been my maid for five months. She left for her off last Friday. When she didn’t return today as she was supposed to, I got worried thinking she had a mishap so I called her phone but she didn’t pick up my calls. I duly placed a call to the agent who brought her to let him know she was AWOL.
I suddenly remembered that I had a bad dream about her which I shared with my husband which sparked my suspicion so I went to her room to discover that she had taken all her things.
Looking around for what she could have made off with, I discovered that she had silence 700 dollars and 40 Euros from my purse.
Please take note of her face so you don’t fall victim to her thievery”.

Early this year, Popular fashion designer, Tolu Bally hunted for her chef who carted away her jewelry and other valuables.

The celebrity designer revealed that she was left heartbroken after she returned from church to an empty room on Sunday, January 29th.

She claimed the chef broke into her room and closet and took all her jewelry and some other valuables.

Tolu Bally revealed that the man was on the run and all his numbers are switched off. She pleaded with the public to reach out to her if they get any information about him. Read more here.

Ehi Ogbebor exposes maid for hacking her safe and stealing $11k

Similarly, Interior designer and ex-girlfriend of MC Oluomo, Ehi Ogbebor had exposed one of her maids for allegedly hacking her safe and carting away $11k.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, the celebrity designer narrated how she stole her money, which is about N8 million.

Ehi Ogbebor said she had given the money to her son to keep in her safe days ago. Last night, she asked him to bring the money and discovered that it was missing.

A search was conducted and the money was found with the maid, who was supposed to resign that day.

A further search led them to her phone and her conversations with Bureau de Change operators, were exposed. The operators who are fondly known as Mallam thought she was of a higher status and always addressed her as ‘Madam’. Read more here.
