Comedian, actor, and content skit maker, Samuel Perry popularly known as Brodashaggi has tackled police spokesperson, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi over his sermon.
Days back, Prince Olumuyiwa took to the micro-blogging platform to preach against assaultment by police officers.
He affirmed that any policeman who slaps a citizen has committed an offense of assault.
Though, he attested that the law allows police officers to apply minimum force but not slap or whip.
“Any policeman who slaps you has committed an offense of assault. No policeman is allowed to slap or flog u. He has items to apply minimum force on you as stipulated by law but not slap or whip. It’s only d baton or teaser or spray a policeman can use on y while duty not slap”.
Brodashaggi lashed out at him for not putting his words to action.
He attested to the maltreatment of both old and young citizens, yet nothing has been done about it.
Brodashaggi told him to stipulate penalty given to officers who break the rules.
” Oga you go must come on bird app dey yarn dust. Your guys dey slap people everyday. Both women and men, old and young and nothing has ever been done about it. You are just tweeting all these for nothing bro. If you really care, Let’s see the punishment given to any policeman who slaps a citizen. Make una no dey find youths likes and comments like say una dey with us while you take order from those old murderers Abegiii”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Broda Shaggi had lamented bitterly after some touts attacked and extorted him in Lekki area of Lagos.
In the video, Kemi Filani News gathered, the comedian cum actor was seen visibly angry, shouting at the touts who blocked his path and damaged his car.
According to a social media user who shared a clip of the unusual event, wrote;
”Bro Shaggi’s car was mobbed by protesters at 5:30 pm on Lekki Epe expressway, before Lagos Business school.
His car windshield, Side Mirror, Back Light was broken with many scratches. He was on his way back to Lekki Tollgate to protest.
He had to pay 10K before he was allowed to go. I believe this protest is for all of us and not to inconvenience ourselves”.
