Nigerian cross dresser, Bobrisky whose real name is Idris Okuneye unarguable remains Nigeria’s first male barbie and does not intend to be unseat any time soon
The social media influencer has made milliona of Naira off the social media scene as he is known to make headlines over the most insignificant issues as well as carve a niche for himself making it easy for brands to trust his work in advertising their products
Of a truth, Bobrsky has managed to maintain relevance in the Nigerian entertainment/social media industry with his personality over the years so its no wonder that he comes across rather strongly on anyone who comes to the scene wanting to be like him
He is a philanthropist who is known as a prominent transgender woman in Nigeria, a country with no LGBT rights and is also known for her presence on the social media app Snapchat, asides Instagram
Over the past couple of months, there has been a number of upcoming crossdressers who intend to be like him but Bobrisky has opted to deal ruthlessly with them as against welcoming them with open arms
On several occasions, he has made it clear that he is not ready to have others like him in the industry, neither is he ready to mentor them in like manner
Few days ago, Bobrisky who is known to come after anyone who trolls, insults or feeds him with negative vibes, making him very controversial mentioned that there is an upcoming cross dresser who might want to come for his crown as the most popular Nigerian crossdresser would struggle hard because the crown belongs to him alone.
Bob as he is fondly called, categorically stated that any cross dresser who wants to be like him “go hustle tire”
The said crossdresser is Daniel Anthony who hails and rules PorthHarcort. Check out his photos here;
Daniel Anthony is not the only one who has attempted to make a living off being a cross dress, a young man known as James Brown a.k.a”They didnt caught me” has also made an epic fail at becoming a Bobrisky. James Brown gained online recognition after he reportedly lied about his health status, claiming that he was H.I.V positive to save himself from police net. He and Bobrisky have managed their different level of fame and audience.
At the moment, Bobrisky claims to be worth a whopping N40m, with a beauty/cosmetic store worth N30m, making him one of the Nigerian millionaires under the age of 30 to be worth almost a N100m. It is pertinent to note that Denrele Edun and Charly Boy were in the scene before Bobrisky, however, the later appears to be enjoying the numerous controversies including being under attack from Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, Director General of Nigerian National Council for Arts and Culture who called him a national disgrace
