“You all praised her when she beat Burna Boy” Bobrisky criticizes Wizkid’s FC discrediting Angelique Kidjo for winning Grammy award

Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has weighed in on the criticisms and draggings hurled at Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo over her Grammy win.

The Benin republic singer beat Wizkid and the Kuti’s to win Best Music Album for ‘Mother Nature’.

Following her win, Nigerians mercilessly dragged the singer for the win.

Majority questioned the type of song she was singing that made her deserving of the award.

Reacting to the several criticisms, Bobrisky pointed out how they didn’t channel the same energy when she won over Burna Boy in 2020.

In January, 2020, Burna Boy lost his first attempt at winning a Grammy award for the best world music album category to Angelique Kidjo.

Surprisingly, Nigerians heaped praises on her and took her side after she emerged victorious.

The hypocrisy has made Bobrisky lashed out at the public for dragging the legendary singer.

Bobrisky questioned why they didn’t chanel the same energy to Wizkid.

He berated those who discredited her singing prowess.

He tweeted, “When Angelique Kidjo beat Burna Boy, you all praised her and referred to her as a legend. But today you all are using numbers to discredit her?”
