Bimpe Akintunde wakes up to 50 missed calls after ordeal with bandits

Actress and filmmaker, Bimpe Akintunde better known as Wasila Coded has woken up to 50 missed calls from loved ones after recounting how she and daughter escaped bandits attack on Ibadan Express road days ago.

Bimpe Akintunde who welcomed a bouncing baby boy in 2021, wrote “I woke up to Almost 50 missed calls both Local and International @sajetiologa I saw your 5missed calls Maami Abiyamo , Thank you for calling ma.

@rikkywealth_ is my no 1 sure Family in Ibadan anytime am in IB she is the number 1 person I will call so yesterday when I eventually escaped to the Hotel I called her even when was not in town she was shaking asking if we are okay and immediately she called her cousin @amlolasmart And she too was on the phone asking if I am okay and safe thank you my Sisters .

Kemi Filani recalls that actress, Bimpe Akintunde had previously narrated how bandits shot directly at her on the Lagos Ibadan express way.

“God saved me and my daughter I can’t believe this.Like they were shooting directly at us.Where are we going in this country? Broad day light attack. God came through for us. I turned back, followed one way and alerted other drivers too.

Just Help me Thank God for My life and That of my Innocent Daughter we are back in Ibadan Safe and Healthy but in Shock.”
