Kemi Filani news recalls Bimbo Ademoye had opened up on how growing up in the hood almost finished her.
The actress revealed that she grew up thinking American stars, Celine Dion, Angelina jolie and Akon were Nigerians.
According to her, someone else had brainwashed her that these power stars were Nigerians and their names were just a ‘tush form’ of their Nigerian names.
She wrote on her Instagram story, “Growing up in the hood nearly finished my life. I was brainwashed into thinking Akon, Celine Dion and Angelina Jolie were Nigerians. Boda femi told me akon was akanni muftau, Celine Dion is Calabar and her real name was Celina Odion, Angelina Jolie was angelica jubril. Boda femi with all due respect, ori yin o da egbon”.
