Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother is set to hit TV screens in January, 2023.
Following several speculations, it has finally been confirmed that the show will start on January 15th.
The announcement was made on Thursday in Lagos at a news conference convened by MultiChoice on the show.
The reality show which would see the merging of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother South Africa, will launch on the 15th of January, and end on April 22, 2023.
The winner will walk home with the grand prize of $100k.
Big Brother Titans to launch in January, 2023
KFN reported months back that the organisers of the reality show had revealed it’s plan to merge Big Brother Naija and Big Brother South Africa.
In October, auditions for the reality show was opened and it lasted for over two weeks, October 6th – 22nd.
According to report which made on the micro blogging platform, Twitter, the reality show would launch January 15th, 2023.
The news was met with mixed reactions as many noted how the reality show would be a distraction to the forthcoming election.
Big Brother Titans
In September, PulseNG tweeted that the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice, John Ugbe unveiled the next plans for the Big Brother franchise show in Africa. According to the tweet, Big Brother Naija would merge with Big Brother South Africa in one house.

Reports which made rounds claimed the merging will feature past winners and other top housemates of the show.
