Osun election: Drama between Davido and a friend over PDP’s Adeleke

Davido has made headlines over a recent drama between himself and a friend over the recently concluded Osun State elections which involved the singer’s uncle, amongst others

The friend apparently insulted his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke who appeared on Channels TV, stating that he will be reclaiming his ‘stolen mandate’ in Osun election in court.

While mocking Senator Ademola for not being present for the Governorship debate on Channels TV, but appearing on same platform to talk about the election. He wrote;

Lolz he wasn’t present for the Osun State debate Channels TV held back then, he is present to announce he is going to court.

Davido who could not hide the shock and betrayal of his friend took to the comment section and wrote;

Olu Ricky? Ur really here commenting this about my uncle and Ull, see someone and be smiling in their face! I considered you a friend! Bitch Behaviour, smh fuck you x2..same way you weren’t present for court when they were about to deport your FRAUD ASS! Fucking hoe! I hope to see you soon

Senator Ademola Adeleke who vowed to contest the result of the election and reclaim his “stolen” mandate, said in the interview at Channels;

“I’d like to tell them that their mandate was stolen. The election was rigged because all our people were not allowed to vote.”

“They sent in some fake policemen and thugs who were holding guns. They were shooting everywhere. People were scared for their lives. They came out in Orolu, our stronghold. They knew they wanted to vote for PDP but they started beating them.

“They told them that they could not vote. This is the worst election I’ve ever seen. It has become a shame to Nigerian democracy.”

“They are so scared right now. They couldn’t even celebrate because they stole our mandate. We have packed our evidence and we will meet them in court. “INEC has been compromised. Even with the 419 result they brought out, we had extra 2000 votes and they promised to add it. They were caught unawares. They had the instruction that they should not announce me and the whole world was watching. They were making a mockery of our democracy. We won’t let it go like that.”
